The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 233 – Eight Inches Of Rubber

We’ve got a piping hot episode of Cammed & Tubbed fresh out of the oven for you, here it is, enjoy. Cam and Brad have some minor project updates, detailing advice, Radwood discussion, and some advice about how to be a good neighbor.

Cam and Brad decide to do their spooky Halloween episode a week early. Lots of Halloween horror questions & answers in this one. Cam does his crummy Dracula voice for more or less the duration of the show. Remember, people, this is a free show. You know, unless you’re one of our amazing Patreon supporters, in which case, sorry.

The DFL Show: Episode 76 – The Pass

Formula 1 was in Austin and there was a pass that Brad thought should have been legal, Pat disagreed. Formula 1 continues to be dumb. Joel is back to the show for the first time in a long time, so we’re very glad to have him on the mic. He’s been all over the world, and driven some really rad stuff. There was a new Honda prototype launched during the show that turned out to be the Sports EV concept. We had a good time, hopefully you will, too.

Redusernab Asks: What Is The Perfect Car For Radwood?

For those who don’t know yet,  is a new car show series for 80s and 90s cars. Some would say these cars are misfits that don’t get attention at a “regular” car show, but at Radwood we (Yes, hello, I am one of the hosts) put them on the main stage. The first Radwood in Brisbane, near San Francisco, went off without a hitch. It went so well, in fact, that we decided to run the second one only 6 months later, this time in Anaheim, down in Orange County, California. Radwood 2 is just over a month away () and we know of at least a few people who have bought cars specifically for this show. If you had to pick one car as your 80s or 90s dream to bring to Radwood, what would it be?

, we’ve got a few Porsche 928s and BMW 8-series. We’ve heard tell of a Bitter SC (above) and a Ferrari Testarossa coming. So today we’re asking you what your 80s or 90s poster car was. Did you have an F40 poster hung on your wall, or a 959? Do you want something more rare and esoteric like a Renault R5 Turbo II?  What’s the raddest car you can think of to bring to Radwood? (Motorcycles also accepted…)

The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 231 – Diminishing Returns

In this episode of the Cammed & Tubbed podcast, our intrepid hosts return from a wonderful weekend with lots to discuss. Cam took his lovely Beth to see the lovely FLW-designed Fallingwater. Turns out, it’s a cool place. There’s a rug there that he really loves. Brad went to California for four days to drive Alex Ross’ (Sharkwerks) well-constructed 964, messed with a Bitter SC for a bit, went to Canepa cars and coffee, went for a half-day rally with Rick Radcliffe, jumped over to Laguna Seca for the 8 Hours of California (lots more about that on The DFL Show this week!) on Sunday, and then on Monday went to 034 Motorsport to drive some of their high-horsepower Audis. On Tuesday, Ferrari North America delivered a 488 Spider to Brad’s house for a couple days. No big deal…

That’s the show, go give it a listen!

And, as usual, we have our Question Tuesday episode. We had a bunch of great questions from our Patreon supporters, and of course, you can ask your own questions by simply following us on Facebook and waiting for the Tuesday question thread.

2018 Cadillac Escalade – Premium Luxury At The Race Track

A few weeks ago Cadillac asked if I would like to attend the IMSA race at Laguna Seca as a guest of theirs. They offered me my choice of loaner car for the weekend, and I had already intended to go to the race anyway, so I agreed without hesitation. I chose the venerable Escalade as my weekend steed, being that it shares the same V8 (okay, a sorta similar one) as the DPi-V.R prototypes racing in the IMSA Prototype category they were there to promote. I also received Cadillac hospitality, food, and lodging for the weekend, in the interest of full disclosure. I picked up the truck, and my Canadian photographer friend, Keiron Berndt (who shot all of these glorious photos) at the SFO airport on Thursday evening and headed south to the track.

The DFL Show: Episode 75 – Dick Stephane

In this episode of the DFL Show, Brad and Eric are around to discuss a number of things. Eric was at a Lemons race in Michigan, and Brad went to the horrible shenanigans known as the 8 hours of California. Brad has lots of opinions about the race that went down at Laguna Seca. It wasn’t pretty, so prepare your ears for a long rant about it.

We also have some news from F1, IMSA, Indycar, WEC, and touring cars. We talk a bit about the NASCAR tire test at the Charlotte roval. We give out our awards for the week, and then let you know what’s coming up next week. It was a bit last minute, but we enjoyed our time talking racing. Hopefully you enjoy it, too!

The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 229 – Garage Disasters

This week on Cammed & Tubbed, Cam and Brad are sitting around the mics to discuss the upcoming weekend on Brad’s docket, some work we’ve done on our project cars (and mopeds). Brad has a minor breakdown about how awful his garage is at the moment. Brad is headed to the bay area for a weekend with Sharkwerks, Canepa, 034 Motorsport, and some racing at Laguna Seca. We’ll have a lot to discuss next week.

Our now traditional Question Tuesday episode has a lot of great discussion this week. Brad begins the episode by reaffirming his relationship to the podcast and working toward treating his co-host a little better. Minutes later Cam gets in a sick burn that is worthy of a genuine belly laugh.

The DFL Show: Episode 74 – Hot Juggalo Nights

Oh boy, is everything a mess this week. There are some crazy fires going on at Sonoma (and the rest of the area). Pat brings the tempo back up with a lackluster Forza Motorsport 7 review. Somehow we end up talking about Juggalos again, because of course we do. There’s some race recaps, mostly of stuff we didn’t see. We have some news from F1, Formula E, Indycar, WEC, IMSA, and more lead up to the 8 Hours of California this weekend. You’ll love it, we promise…

The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 227 – Accord-ing To Tub

We have a ton of exciting news this week! Brad was recently on the tenth generation Honda Accord launch, and genuinely liked the car (surprising even himself). Furthermore, we’ve got another Radwood coming up, presented by our friends at Jalopnik. Go check out the and this for more information. You can sign up for yourself or check out the merch at .

We also had a question Tuesday episode in which Cam and Brad suffer a severe argument over their preferred form of motorcycle journalism (hint: Cam is way wrong).
