The DFL Show: Episode 47 – The Pat ‘n Eric Show

This week Duncan was out racing TCR, Stef was out recovering from Formula E, Joel walked in the door just as the show finished recording, and Brad was out recording Episode 200 of the Redusernab Podcast, leaving just Eric and Pat to hold down the fort. They did a bang up job.

I’m on a 5 AM flight and it’s currently midnight, so I’m not going to write a long description for this one. Also, I have not yet listened to the show, so it’ll be a surprise for all of us. It’s racing, how much shenanigans could they get into? Oh… Oh god…

On this episode of the Cammed & Tubbed Podcast, we’re presented by a brand new sponsor, . They’re awesome, go check out the site.

Cam and Brad are mic’d up to discuss cars and car-like things. The dudes talk about the impending death of Sears & Craftsman Tools, some cool Porsche collectibles at auction this weekend, a LeMons race Brad went to, Radwood’s new location, potentially rehoming Rowdy, and what car they’d drive the long way from Paris to New York.

The DFL Show: Episode 142 – Livin’ In A Van

On this episode of The DFL Show, Eric, Brad, and Pat sit around to talk about the weekend’s action. Eric and Brad were both at the Sonoma Lemons race, and Pat was watching Formula 1. The VLN race kicked ass, and there was also some NASCAR and bike racing action to discuss. It was a pretty great weekend for racing, actually.

The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 181 – Return Of The Ds

This week on C&T, Jason is caught up at work and can’t join us, so it’s an old-school Cam and Brad episode. As such, we decided to bring back the old Three Ds segment for the heck of it. Cam and Brad plan on car projects for this year, , and talk about automotive TV shows. Edd China is leaving Wheeler Dealer, can you believe it?

On our question tuesday episode, we have another visit from Ron Carter of . Ron’s a good guy, we were happy to have him as a guest.

The DFL Show: Episode 45 – Fursonalities

This week’s episode of The DFL show, Brad has oral surgery and the right half of his mouth is numb, so Eric sort of shares hosting duties. Also Patrick is around to provide insightful commentary. The racing action is getting super heated these days with a solid finish to the 12 Hours of Sebring, an excellent Continental Challenge race, some cool stuff going down at Goodwood’s Member’s Meeting, a 12 hour race at Mugello, a Phoenix NASCAR race, and more.

We have a metric ton of news to hustle through, including F1 stuff, the various bits being sold in the Manor GP sale, NASCAR not fining the Busch-Logano incident, IndyCar stuff, WEC, IMSA, PWC, Supercars, New BBC America Top Gear hosts, and a whole lot more. There isn’t a game this week, because we spent all that time talking about my teeth. Sorry. – BB

The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 179 – Drunk At The Mitty W/ Ron Carter

This week Cam and Brad are joined by vintage racer, Datsun fanatic, purveyor of car and trailer tracking systems, and all around good guy Ron Carter. Ron is one of the heads of , a company that builds tracking systems for your car or trailer that can provide live updates direct to your smartphone. As it turns out, Ron and Brad have been at the same tracks for the same events for VERY different reasons on several occasions, but have only met through the internet. Ron’s a really cool guy with a really interesting car history, so give him a listen!

In our question Tuesday episode we continue the conversation with Eric Rood, and this time we talk a little less about baseball and a lot less about guitars. There’s a good bit of LeMons discussion here and bags of spaghetti-o’s.

The DFL Show: Episode 44 – The Pat Long Game

A slightly fuller house this week, we have Stef, Brad, Eric, and Patrick on the show this week, and we’ve delivered quick recaps of the racing from this weekend, IndyCar, Pirelli World Challenge, WRC, NASCAR Fist Fighting, etc. A friend of the show wrote a lovely piece regarding sexism and the treatment of female fans in motorsport, and of course we all have fresh hot takes on that subject. Formula 1 news, NASCAR news, IndyCar news, WEC news, IMSA news, other stuff. We have a 20 Questions game, and give out our awards. This weekend is Sebring, so get pumped for that. Thanks for listening!

The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 177 – Baseball & Guitars W/ Eric Rood

On this episode, Jason can’t be with us because his wife is ill (GET WELL!), but we grabbed Redusernab’s occasional motorsport nerd, DFL Show co-host, and Hot Rod/Roadkill’s whipping boy Eric Rood to join us on this episode. We talk about Hyundai Elantra GTs (the mid-2000s ones) for a while for some reason, then jump into baseball and guitars and how guitars sometimes use automotive paints for their finish. It’s compelling, it’s enthralling, it’s exciting, it’s THE CAMMED & TUBBED PODCAST!

And finishing up from last week when Cam and Brad spent some time answering questions with Kevin McCauley, here’s Tuesday’s episode. Thanks to our great listeners for the great questions. And thanks for joining us, Kevin. Come back any time!

The DFL Show: Episode 43 – Life, The Universe, And Everything, Plus One

Oh boy, what a show we have for you this week! Stef, Brad, and Eric are all sitting around the mics this week to give you the pop culture references and lists of things wrong with their cars that you all crave. What? Racing? You wanted us to talk about racing? I guess we do that, too…

Stef kicks off the show with a list of things wrong with her Parshalump race car, then we give a decent breakdown of all the racing from the weekend, most of which could not be watched at all. Brad gives an excellent unpaid advertisement for MTOD, We did get a chance to see the Supercars racing from Adelaide, but Trans Am at Sebring was untelevised, we just know it was a shitshow, and the Mint 400 was also untelevised, we just know it was awesome.

Some NASCAR news, IndyCar testing news, still silly season in a few championships, there’s some new F1 stuff, St. Pete GP is this weekend and looks to be pretty damn awesome. Check your local listings.
