School’s out and that means lighter traffic all summer long! What are you going to do with all of that new-found free time now that you won’t be stuck out on the road? I suggest this week’s Mystery Car. Make and model, you lollygaggers.

I’m going to kick myself when someone identifies this, because I have seen it. Early fifties but I can’t put my finger on what.

      same here

Kinda like 58 chevy but not. Lincoln Cosmopolitan had a similar light too.

    1961 Dodge Polara

    • Fuhrman16

It’s similar but the one on the Dodge seems to be longer than the mystery car.

I was thinking Dual-Ghia, but same issue. It definitely seems to be part of Ghia and Exner’s design language (a similar treatment is inverted under the bumper on the XNR) but I can’t place it.

That’s the false lead I expected people to follow. Muh-ha-ha-ha!

Without a doubt this is Pontiac Aztek of the tail fin cars.

Oh, I don’t know. 1952 Pininfarina bodied Ferrari 342 America?

  • Desmo

I think it’s a Vignale tail light, like this one on the Ferrari 340. Problem is that Vignale worked for many car companies. Please see Wikipedia.

      I still think it’s a Pininfarina:

        Very good. This is it.
